Hello my friend, my name is McKay Christian Mohun—and I started Words of Good Courage because I believe you were made on purpose, for a purpose.
As someone who speaks, coaches, and creates to inspire, my mission is to help you discover the gifts God placed within you and step boldly into the calling He’s prepared for you. Whether through one-on-one guidance or encouraging content, my goal is simple: to help you see who you truly are and become everything you were created to be.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you—as both a friend and a guide. Because when we align with God’s purpose, we don’t just find clarity—we spark change.

Born in California’s Central Valley beneath the peaks of the Sierra Nevada, McKay’s life has been shaped by both mountains and valleys—seasons of clarity and times of uncertainty. Through it all, his faith in God became the foundation that formed his character and instilled a deep conviction: that every person is made to live a life of purpose, impact, and significance.
With a diverse background in film, marketing, athletics, education, and ministry, McKay brings a rare blend of creativity, strategy, and heart to everything he does. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Alabama—but his passion lies not in titles, but in transformation.
Today, McKay serves as a Life & Career Coach and founder of Words of Good Courage—a movement committed to confronting the current crisis facing men and raising up a generation of faith-driven leaders.
As a voice for change, McKay fights to be a champion for men and the purpose that God has called them to pursue.
